The Encyclopedia of Stuff You Shouldn't Know
I just started a collaboration with a friend titled, The Encyclopedia of Stuff You Shouldn't Know.
This project complements my current line of scholarship as it has to with the re-packaging of taboo / forbidden information for capitalist consumption.
The goal is to see how many followers can be accumulated by spreading a pop “Anarchist Cookbook” style of information, but aestheticized & updated for the social media generation.
Unlike the Anarchist Cookbook, we’re not interested in causing any negative social change — but instead to catalog the various ways humans have skirted laws & morals for their own gain.
The Encyclopedia will be discussing such things as: white-collar crimes; drug chemistry; cults; sabotage; neuro-linguistic programming; carnival scams; spy craft; obscure history; digital piracy; and more!
It’s a taxonomy, not a handbook. Who knows what’ll come of it, but it’s fun to make things!
