Digitize Your Contracts

Digitize Your Contracts

You’re a filmmaker, right? If not… Well, then you’re an intelligent person — because filmmaking is quite the racket. Only worth being in it if you really, really, really love it; or are just especially good at makin’ movies.

Anyway, whether you’re a filmmaker or not… Digitize your contracts!

There’s so many crazy people in the world. And crazy situations.

Ya just never know what’s gonna happen in the future. And what if you have a precious folder filled with important work contracts… For example, or let’s say, about 100+ appearance releases / location releases / work-for-hire forms… What then?? What if you lost that shit forever?

Bro, digitize your fuckin’ contracts.

Digitize that shit, throw it on some kind of cloud, and kick back with the ease of mind knowing that it’s only gonna take a catastrophic apocalypse to wipe away your paper trail of intellectual property. And by then, I’m pretty sure we're all gonna be a bit more worried about something else other than paperwork.

Pro Tip: Just make it a part of your business habits. When you sign a new contract, digitize it, and throw it up on a hard drive, and throw it up on some online server. It only takes an extra 10 minutes per contract… But it’ll save you so much peace of mind (and possibly actual business litigation) in the future.

Do you have a bunch of contracts sitting around that are undigitized? If a wildfire broke out right now, would you lose the proof of your livelihood? Can an evil rival smash into your life and hold hostage your ownership of a movie, simply by snatching your contracts?

Then get your ass off the chair right now & DIGITIZE YOUR CONTACTS!
