Restated Name and Title

At the end of an interview, it's a good idea to ask the subject to restate their name and title.

Usually, from my observation, most directors start with this question (I do too).

And the subject, generally, answers in a modest fashion. They've yet to warm up.

But once the interview gets rocking-and-rolling, their gears are loose and the subject comes alive.

At the end of this process, ask them to restate their name and title.

I guarantee you'll be happier with their delivery.
