Early Adopters, First Mover Advantage

Early Adopters, First Mover Advantage

Be a first mover.

When a new technology rolls along, if you're the type not to take it seriously, be skeptical, or wait till everyone else does it first - I'm tellin' you! Don't do that! LOLOL

Many of my biggest regrets over the last decade are from having low expectations of myself & the world. And so I shrug it all away, not taking anything seriously... refusing to subject myself to the basic, guttural whims of human activity. << No no no, this kind of thinking is ALL wrong!

When the next YouTube, Internet, Twitter, iPhone, comes along... JUMP ON IT!

Take it seriously. Jump on it. Tell your friends. Express yourself.

Because riding that wave early is so much easier, and a bigger adventure than joining late in the game when the natural curve of attention is dipping and competition is fiercely entrenched.

Please make a commitment to every trend that you think is coming because that is how you win consistently. As soon as I know musical.ly is going to matter, I write 4 musical.ly marketing things & I win every time. So the one thing you have to think about is can you predictmove very quickly on very small micro-trends in your demo. Like, Sweet Tea Masks - like, if you think sweet peas are going to be smashed and be face masks - You have to jump as quickly possible on those. That is absolutely winning. So the one thing I know from all the media companies, founders, what they all have, the best ninjas they can have at all fighting, the one thing is - Who was the first person that was right that Clif Bars were going to be big? Or Raccoon Eyes? Or fucking like Shadowboxing... You know to basically write shit before it actually happens or literally create the fucking trend.
